What do you love most about the card swap?

I love meeting new warriors who are surviving through their I’ll was’ as I am and forming a pen pal friendship with them. I love knowing that when I send a card to someone in need that it will add a tiny bit of sunshine to their day and forget about their pain for a few minutes. I look forward to my monthly match or my yikes crew match, and getting an email asking people to send out an extra card to someone that needs a snail mail hug.

Primary Diagnoses

Gastroparesis, stage 3 Renault failure, pancreatic dysfunction, POTS, severe hyokalemia and low sodium, I have a port for weekly infusions of sodium and potassium.

Fun facts about you

I am an avid reader and self-proclaimed nerd. I travel when I can with my teenage daughter. I love to bake and cook with her as well, and I am addicted to watching Food Network. When it’s sunny out, you’ll find me sunbathing.

Lastly, I dislike very much wearing shoes, even in the winter I’m barefoot and or in flip flops, and I’ll be in my pajamas if I’m home.
